The SenterNovem "Energie Onderzoek Subsidie" [Energy Research Subsidy] programme aims to expand knowledge with regard to energy efficiency and sustainable energy in the Netherlands. This knowledge forms the foundation for an affordable, reliable and clean energy supply in the future. The Energie Onderzoek Subsidie programme covers the process from idea to market introduction.

The following groups from the Electrical Engineering faculty of the TU/e actively participate in this programme: Electrical Power Systems (EPS, Prof. Jan Blom), Electromechanics and Power Electronics (EPE, Dr. E.A. Lomonova -temporary-) and Control Systems (CS, Prof. Paul van den Bosch).
