Research by Eindhoven University of Technology

From way back plasma research in the Netherlands has been concentrated in Eindhoven. The unique position of the Eindhoven research into plasmas, that is of worldwide renown, means that the Eindhoven research groups are the obvious contact point for other research groups in the Netherlands and for Dutch industry.

Playing a prominent role in the plasma research are structuring and ordering, transport of charge and matter, generating electrical and magnetic fields and non-equilibrium and chemistry. Plasma technology provides an important foundation in producing and optimising new thin layer solar cell systems.
