The research carried out at TU/e in relation to the storage of electricity in rechargeable batteries encompasses the entire range of fundamental material research and new battery technologies through to the modelling of the entire battery. As a by-product of the battery design, new battery algorithms are being developed that monitor batteries during use and safely interact with them.
