Research by Delft University of Technology

The research at TU Delft focuses on the clean use of fossil fuels by means of underground storage of CO2. The possibilities for storage are:

  • Injection into aquifers
  • Injection into oil and gas fields
  • Injection into coal layers

In order to monitor and verify the behaviour of CO2 under the ground, various monitoring techniques are being studied.
